Sonia Dioguardi

Sonia born of Sicilian parents speaks Italian & French and assists with tour management and client comfort. When not travelling Sonia is a ski instructor in both Australia and France. Sonia lives near Mt Buller in Victoria.

Carlos Bernardo

Carlos speaks Portuguese and Spanish and his love of his homeland, and his knowledge of Portugal’s culture, music, football and backroads makes for a real insight into the Iberian Peninsula.

Rolli Lucarotti

Rolli is English and went to Corsica over thirty years ago with her English born, Canadian husband, John Lucarotti, and their baby daughter aboard their catamaran. John wrote scripts for television, things like Dr Who and The Avengers. Rolli knows a lot about the gastronomy of Corsica, having published the only English language cookery book on the subject which, incidentally, won an award as the best Mediterranean cookbook in the UK.

Giampaolo Mura

Giampaolo lives and sails in Sardinia. His beautiful yacht the “Dovesesto” he captains with skill and looks after his guests with charm and humour. Sardinia is an island that must be experienced by journeying on land and sea.

Luis Claudio

Luis, a carioca, (born and breed in Rio), lights up with laughter when talking about Carnival, Samba or eating. Luis lived in New York for eight years and spent time driving 16 wheelers, so he knows the other 47 states as well.

A consumate humorist, Luis speaks Spanish, Portuguese and English. Hiking and kayaking engage him in the great Brazilian outdoors, but he admits to watching a football match every four years.

Leander Borg

Leander was born in Swakopmund, Namibia, some 30 years ago. He studied BA at the University of Stellenbosch and then ventured to Europe where he spent two years working in Munich, Germany. This is where he was introduced to the eco-tourism industry. One rainy winter's day the yearning for the African sun was so strong that he packed his bags and after working in South Africa, eventually relocated back to Namibia. Leander personally assists with all the details of our adventures in Namibia. Father of three, Leander is fluent in Afrikaans, English and German.

John Bird

John has worked as a personal assistant / chef / travel arranger and party planner to celebrities in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Paris, Rome and Venice.

Fluent in French and Italian and with a love of life and its variety, he is at home wherever he goes.

Born in Australia, John graduated from the world famous Cordon Bleu, Paris, refining his knowledge of cuisine, especially the art of Mediterranean cooking. Now living in Italy full-time, John is enjoying passing on his passion for, and knowledge of ,Tuscany to others.
